Content Creator & Social Media Manager

Part Time


As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring online communication between the Sector X brand and the public – this includes, but is not limited to, organizing and running campaigns across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitch, regularly creating and posting content, corresponding with customers online. We’re looking for someone creative, imaginative and organized to maintain our online presence. This position is vital to keep our brand relevant and active in today’s social media landscape.


  • Collaborate with the marketing team and the management/leadership team to reach marketing goals and create a cohesive brand presence.

  • Actively Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

  • Execute day-to-day, organic social media campaigns and content promoting the Sector X brand and experience

  • Conduct, gather and analyze market research to determine social media opportunities and competitiveness.

  • Continuously measure and optimize and report on campaign performance to achieve goals and objectives.

  • Create, monitor and optimize social media ad campaigns.

  • Deliver/create strategic content for all social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, You Tube, etc.)

  • Respond to all incoming Facebook, Twitter and Instagram messages in a timely and personalized fashion.

  • Keep abreast of social media marketing trends, research new channels and identify opportunities to connect the public with our brand and offerings, and share key insights with the team.

  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Some Things About You

  • Fluency with primary social media channels, tools, etiquette, best-practices, voice/tone and metrics including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.

  • Experience producing content for social media, as well as channel-specific knowledge (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

  • Experience building audiences online.

  • Excellent creative writing and editing skills.

  • Must be able to produce on-brand, quality content in live event situations including posting to Instagram Stories, Facebook Live, etc.

  • Must be able to strategically plan and produce content through events, photoshoots etc. in collaboration with the marketing team.

  • Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills.

  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and travel as events require.

How We Work

  • We are open 5 days a week, Wednesdays-Sundays typically from early afternoon into evening.

  • As we are an entertainment business, our most important days are Friday and Saturdays and therefore we have extended hours.

  • Flexible work environment; hybrid work-from-home, special event and regular hours – negotiable.

Additional Info

Average Hours: 25-30

Starting Salary: Negotiable, based on experience

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ / Remote Hybrid

Experience: None necessary; but must be able to demonstrate an active presence in the social media landscape and the ability to grow and maintain an audience.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred; but we are willing to consider any applicant that can demonstrate valuable knowledge and skills in this field.
